Copyright & DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) and similar laws.
1. Scope
opentab is a browser. Content you see on websites is hosted by those websites, not by us. Send notices about that content to the website or its host. This policy covers content hosted by us: the Sites, the App and our release downloads. It also covers unauthorized copies or rebrands of opentab itself.
2. Filing a notice
Email contact@opentab.cc with the subject "Copyright notice". Include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- a description of the copyrighted work;
- the exact location (URL) of the material you say infringes it;
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
3. Counter-notice
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. Include:
- your signature;
- a description of the removed material and where it appeared;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and phone number; and
- your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you are outside the US, any judicial district where we may be found), and to accept service from the person who filed the notice.
4. Repeat infringers
Where appropriate, we end the access of repeat infringers.
5. Misuse
Under §512(f), you may be liable for damages if you knowingly make a false claim in a notice or counter-notice.
6. Reporting copies of opentab
